The solution was obvious: a parking system with barriers. But traditional ticketing? Those would only create extra work for the stores. Parking should remain smooth and spontaneous, which is exactly what FastFlow excels in.
An ANPR camera (license plate recognition) automatically registers the vehicle. Visitors get three hours of free parking time, more than enough for a leisurely shopping trip. Do they leave within that time? Then the barrier opens automatically; do they stay longer? Then they simply pay a parking fee at the exit kiosk.
No hassle with tickets, no queues, just a smooth parking experience.
Smart installation with Alphatronics hardware
The parking lot was equipped with:
- Two DBK barriers for controlled access and smooth flow
- Two pillars with ANPR cameras for reliable license plate recognition
- One StrongLine entrance kiosk with intercom for possible assistance
- One MiroLine exit pillar with payment terminal, screen and QR code scanner for easy payments
- Four ramp bollards to protect the hardware
This integrated approach makes the parking process run smoothly and efficiently, with no additional workload for retailers.
